The Pillow Talk Lip & Cheek Glow ($40) was relaunched in this collection. I bought both the last round but never used them so I gifted them away. The color is beautiful but I’m not a fan of the packaging style and it is too dewy for my cheeks. If you’re a fan of the dewy cheek look (like the Chanel Baume Essentiel) then I think you will love this.

It has a slight slip when first applied but seems to dry out a bit during wear. After a day of wear I feel that my lips could use a balm but not completely parched either. It lasts through sipping and light snacks but is gone after an actual meal. It does last longer with a lip liner in a similar shade underneath. The sample lipstick has a light sweet vanilla scent that is very reminiscent of the MAC lipstick vanilla scent.

It’s more orangey, but still brown, and has a little color variation in the highlight and pop shades. I bought it last summer (when it was still LE) and I have hit pan on all the shadows! It’s my everyday life saviour, makes you look great, best version of yourself. I recommend applying a glitter glue under the pop shade- it prevents fallout throughout the day. I would 100% repurchase and now I can because It’s permanent!

It’s a semi-miss for me, mainly because the color is a bit too deep for my skin tone as a highlighter. On my skin it pulls very copper, very warm and a bit too dramatic. It would probably work better on someone with very tan to deep skin tone. I think the colors are stunning as an eyeshadow palette. While the full size Pillow Talk lipstick retails for $34, Charlotte Tilbury puts out several kits that contain a mini-size Pillow Talk combined with other products from her line.

I’ve been a long time fan of Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks, and the brand just came out with new shades to the now cult-classic Pillow Talk line. Fortunately, I found these lipsticks to be hydrating, and they have a satin-smooth texture that feels really nice and comfortable on the lips. For my fair skin and neutral undertone, it appears ever so slightly pinker, but it’s still very much a neutral nude. 110% would recommend this shade for anyone who wants a versatile lipstick you can wear anytime.
I also like a monochromatic vibe, though the Pillow Talk lipstick washes me out. Yeah, I don’t know how well this will work on medium or darker skin tones. I felt like it was close to washing me out, and I’m more light to light-medium. My first reaction was super positive — I am a very fair toned, warm neutrals-liking person. And I’ve been interested in rosier, warm neutrals; I have enough oranges and browns to last a few lifetimes.
